Your information
Privacy Notice
This page explains what we collect when you RSVP, why we need it, where it is stored and when it will be destroyed. We have written it to meet the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Who is collecting it
Rodalyn Tamiao and Andrii Motornyi (“we”) are collecting this information for our wedding on 7 November 2026. We are the people responsible for it. You can reach us at petalandsealnz@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your name, and the names of anyone attending with you.
- Whether you are attending, and how many people are in your party.
- Any dietary requirements you choose to tell us.
- Any song requests you choose to share.
- Any message you choose to write to us.
Only your name and whether you are coming are needed. Dietary requirements, song requests and messages are optional — leave them blank if you would rather not share them.
Why we collect it
To plan the day: confirming numbers, arranging catering and seating, and organising transport between the accommodations and the venues. We do not use it for anything else, and we will never sell it or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Dietary requirements
A dietary requirement can reveal something about your health or your religion, so we treat it carefully. It is shared only with our caterer, for the purpose of feeding you safely on the day, and it is not shown anywhere on this website.
Where it is stored
RSVPs are submitted through Netlify Forms, a service provided by Netlify, Inc. Your response is stored on Netlify’s servers in the United States, which means your information leaves New Zealand. Netlify holds it on our behalf; only we can read it.
How long we keep it
We will delete all RSVP responses by 31 December 2026, once the wedding is over and there is no longer any reason to keep them.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email petalandsealnz@gmail.com and we will sort it out — there is no form to fill in and no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
